3. Gazette information

Protected records may contain names, addresses, identity or registration numbers, estate references and other information published in Legal Notices. The public landing page discloses aggregate cohort statistics only.

4. Purpose and controls

The service supports lawful professional research, information quality, source provenance, correction and accountable access. Identifiable Gazette material and authentication outcomes are released only after login and current responsible-use attestation.

5. Recovery, retention and rights

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Action links are random, single-use and time-limited. Retention, access, correction, objection, complaints and incident procedures are subject to the approved production privacy programme.
